The Alfa 164 was rebadged to 168 for the Hong Kong market.
Phonetically in Chinese “164” sounds like “all the way to death”, while “168” becomes “all the way to prosperity”.
I know it’s common to skip fourth floors and building numbers in east Asian countries, but this is the first time I’ve heard it applied to a car model name.

Huh...that’s a new one! Also, I took this while in Houston at a relatively-new high-end hotel, there’s no 13th floor! I thought superstitious floors were a thing of the past!
